Wine Wednesday just got a lot more educational – and delicious. The El Gaucho Tacoma team is offering a wine education series on the first Wednesday of the month to introduce some new wines and do an in-depth study on several of their favorite varietals. Sommelier Bryant Mason will lead the 30-minute class featuring four wines of different styles and regions. The featured wines will also be available for retail purchase and Revelers Club members will earn points on each purchase.

Angels Envy is known for their unique style of whiskey finished in port barrels, and we invite you to experience our El Gaucho custom blend at a one-of-a-kind dinner experience. Each of the five courses will be paired with a specialty cocktail made with a variety of Angels Envy’s very best. Seattle’s own Smitt Rojanasthien will lead a small group of guests through the evening and share his knowledge and enthusiasm for this acclaimed distillery.

Paul Hobbs Winery: As the founder and winemaker of his eponymous winery, Paul Hobbs is highly regarded for his ability to identify exceptional vineyards and for his pioneering spirit in working innovatively with new and historical sites. He continues to farm the vineyards and dedicate himself to crafting wine that expresses what the land has to offer.
Blanton’s: Created in 1984 by Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, and named after Albert B Blanton, Blanton’s was the worlds introduction to Single Barrel Bourbon. A reference to Blanton’s habit of throwing parties with his closest friends and bringing out his favorite barrels. This bottling of Blanton’s Single Barrel is exclusive to Fire & Vine Hospitality restaurants, selected by our team for its pronounced flavors.
Angels Envy: Rooted in 200 years of bourbon heritage and inspired by legendary Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s lifetime spent crafting fine spirits, Angel’s Envy is a masterpiece. The 5% of spirit lost each year during barrel aging is called the “Angel’s Share,” what’s left behind after we’re done is truly worthy of envy. After tasting our finished whiskey, Lincoln joked that we’d finally gotten a better deal than the angels. And so Angel’s Envy was born.
